Flexible ferrite tiles from Fair-Rite are designed for EMI suppression in applications where limited installation space and mechanical flexibility are important. Unlike rigid ferrite plates, these NiZn-based materials can easily conform to flat and curved surfaces without reducing their magnetic properties.
The amount of noise absorbed at higher frequencies depends on the resistive component of the permeability (μ’). Depending on the material type and thickness, effective damping can be achieved from below 1 MHz up into the GHz range.
Key Specifications:
- Material: NiZn soft ferrite
- Frequency range: < 1 MHz up to GHz range
- Available thicknesses: 0.13 – 0.53 mm
